It’s Christmas in July! Okay maybe not, but in the party-planning world it is. Corporate parties can be a great way for your employees to connect and get some much-needed rest and relaxation. Taking the extra time to put care and attention into your party is a great way to show appreciation and bring colleagues together. The best way to ensure your event is a success is to start planning ahead, so we’ve outlined some tips below to help you get started.
Choose the Best Timing for Your Employees
When thinking about planning a corporate party, consider what timing makes the most sense. Schedules tend to fill up toward the end of the year, so opting for a party in November or January might be more successful, especially if your busy season is in December. Keeping schedules in mind is a great way to ensure that your employees are able to relax and get a reprieve from a busy holiday season!
Fun Fall-Themed Events
Want to do something a little different? We are able to provide all the traditional holiday options, but if you choose a unique theme, we are happy to work with you on creating a distinct menu.
For fall-themed events, try:
- Oktoberfest: Think hot soft pretzels, sliders, and a tasty selection of beer. (For bar options, see our sister company Squeeze Cocktails).
- Oyster Roast/Bonfire: This one is self-explanatory, but ALWAYS a hit. After dinner, we can set up the S’Mores. Chat with us about oyster roast options!
For January events try:
- Winter Wonderland: A Hot Chocolate Bar is a MUST. (Can be spiked if paired with a Bar Package from Squeeze!)
- Casino Night: Always a hit!
What to Serve
Serving food that’s on theme is important. However, think about serving cuisine that might offer variety from what your employees will be dining on in the coming months. For example, if you opt for a November party, we recommend not serving Turkey! Everyone will be turkeyed-out. Instead, think about a pasta station or any of our delicious chicken options. If you have a theme, let our Sales Team know and they will be happy to point you in the direction of the best on-theme selections and brainstorm ways to make your event unique and special.Â
