This week on the blog, we’re highlighting one of the most unique bridal shows we’ve ever been part of – A Lowcountry Love Affair with Magnolia Plantation. This live-action show allowed dozens of wedding vendors throughout Charleston to showcase their work for real couples coming to the plantation to see them in action.
The event was organized into several real ceremonies (One Elopement, a 10 year vow renewal, 25 year vow renewal, and a 50 year vow renewal!), where real couples had an opportunity to have a brief ceremony and reception planned and executed by the best of the best here in the Lowcountry. We were honored to be selected to cater at the Conservatory, a beautiful greenhouse-type venue lush with exotic plants and rich wooden tones throughout. We were paired with Yoj Events, one of our favorite planners in Charleston! Yoj did an incredible job alongside Tiger Lily, Snyder Events, and Mix Charleston to create a breathtaking new vision for the Conservatory. It was more beautiful than we had ever seen it before! White blooms and fresh greenery complemented the Conservatory perfectly, and to reflect that luxe look, we passed Mini Charcuterie Bites, Manhattan Clam Chowder, and Goat Cheese and Beet Skewers, Encrusted with Pistachios and Drizzled with Balsamic Reduction.
The Grand Finale of the day took place at the Carriage House, planned and designed by Jessica Cruz of Cruz Coordination. Wildflowers Inc. and Roadside Blooms decked out the room with fresh florals and an incredible flower and greenery canopy to blanket the ceiling and create the most stunning display we’ve ever seen at the Carriage House! The venue was completely transformed into a dramatic jewel toned garden party.
We absolutely loved being included in this amazing showcase of all of our favorite friendors here in town. We’re so lucky to work alongside such talented individuals! Can’t wait to be part of this event next year.
